Toowoomba Live Steamers - News

Gary Thompson our newest club member has had a very busy three months.  Gary and his wife Wendy joined Toowoomba Live Steamers in August 2025.  Gary succesfully completed his induction in October 2025 and during the three months probation period Gary also completed his electric locomotive drivers test.  To succesfully complete the test requirements Gary had to complete 10 hours supervised practical driving of the clubs electric locomotive and was required to undertake a 20 question written exam on track operations as well as train operations, which he completed with a high pass mark.
